Multi-Franchise Composite
Would

How do we equalize the playing
field so you can judge your managers fairly? Expenses
are more equitable across the categories of variable,
personnel, semi-fixed
and fixed. F & I compensation expense is
netted out into business office gross. Labor
categories are narrowed down into the three main areas
of customer, warranty and internal. Sometimes
income that is booked under the Service Department
is moved to the Parts Department (i.e. gas, oil and
grease). Lease and rental net profit is brought
in below the line next to net additions and deductions. Parts
gross transfer is brought back to the Parts Department.
We
